SUG ELECTION IN AKWA IBOM STATE POLYTECHNIC, IKOT OSURUA

The choice of the student  of Akwa Ibom state polytechnic Ikot osurua lies in geting  back their right  as a student in the institution. For over thirteen  years of service in accordance to the management  record, the school has never conducted and election  to give full right to the  student and elect the best to represent  the school. It was after a prolong  protest  by the  student  every early in the morning as at 5. am the student vying for their right had to block the school gate, and on  that note non of the working staff were allowed to enter the school premises. the prolong protest took  a almost half of the day.


NO ELECTION!
NO SECOND SEMESTER  EXAMINATION!
These strong angry influential  act, prond the management to conduct  an election in order for peace to reign among the student. nevertheles, one of the student was elected from the department of business administration to take the mantus  with full right and authority as vest by the management.The historical record of having  an appointed student as SUG president has  finally swim  to an end.
